Do we ignore warning signs in relationships?

I know that no one is perfect, but do we ignore vital things in relationships that will cause confusion and sadness down the road?

I remember this one boyfriend, he was everything one could want and more. The only thing that I know wouldn't work if we had gotten married was our different religions. I knew that if we ever had children that would be a constant fight. With that in mind I broke things off.

Personally I do think if having different religions were to be a problem then the problems would show before the having the children part,...and quite possibly even before you decide to get married.

I dont everlook things I dont like and I dont dismiss the person unless its REALLY BAD. like bad breath or sinting nasty. I will tell the person that I dont like so and so. If they agree to change I give them chance to. If its something I can live with Ill forget it. If its something they can change but dont want to I tell them why I dont want to be in any relationship.

I told one guy. a good trick is to mention or actually brush your teeth before bed and ask them to join you then tell them "u know, me love brushing me teeth every night because even though I brush in the morning, night cleansing prevent the germs so I always have fresh breath". trust me, dat solved the situation for me!

I do remember once he said something that was out of order and didn't think it was a big deal. I challenged him when he went to church Sunday morning to stand up and say the certain thing in church.
