Definitely, we've all heard of "locker room talk" and, if we focus specifically on our community, men boasting about how many women dem get to "come across" and how much ooman dem "breed"...a word I detest.

That is why women are well advised to keep the baggy firmly fastened in place until they are sure of a guy....and that takes a long time. How embarrassing fe and then discover you are just another notch in some guys belt. I can't think of anything more humiliating.

Also at university.....I remember I went through a stage when I really wasn't understanding patois that well, so guys would chat. One woman in our group was raised in Jamaica and I remember a guy say, I keep forgetting that we have to watch what we say around you.
