I want to keep my mind off of him so i dont be sad. I can't call him...well i can but i dont want to because then we will talk and end up back together in a relationship that is not healthy and i dont want an unhealthy relationship so i'd rather keep my mind off of him and stay busy so i dont call him. If he call me with a different attitude then things will be different

Been there before and the worst thing I did was call him up. It only made me miss him more.

Mistake number 2 was run away from the problem by being with a crowd, ie. going to parties, dinners, because I felt more alone and missed him more.

How I got through this situation was learning how to be alone for a while and accomplishing some personal goals. Do something that will make you feel good and I don't mean eating a tub of ice cream. If you're the athletic type, join a marathon or enrol in some kickboxing class. Kickboxing is nice to express some pent up feelings. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img] Yoga helped me relax, refocused and it eased my mind. You can try that. Other things you can do:

- Set aside a day per week for a "me" day where you can treat yourself to a home facial, light some scented candles and turn your place into a spa. It's a day to give yourself some special treatment. Heck! You don't need a man for that.

- Start a new hobby. It has to be something you like. I don't know, maybe you like jewelery. You can learn how to make your own for example.

- Hang out with people who make you laugh and care about you. Trust me, this would help. Just don't mention him or don't talk about him.

- There's always something you've always wanted to do but kept putting off, ie. clean closet, go to Paris, scuba diving ... this is the perfect time to do it.

anyway, the unhealthy things i'm talkin bout is lack of communication and the difference in opinion on how a relationship should be. We have different standards and ideas about what is and isnt supposed to be going on in a relationship. Therefore all the differences in opinion cause debates that sometimes lead to unneccessary arguing and that is not healthy in my opinion especially when everything could be resolved if he just talked about things like a mature grownup instead of giving me the [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nahtalktoyuh.gif[/img] attitude. i mean thats childish. Especially when i am open and willing to talk and try very hard to be extremely patient and understanding so he can see that it is easy to talk to me about whatever instead not talking about it and letting it build up causing stress and what not for no reason.

I havent called him since Sunday although i really really wanted to. i think he called me last night becasuse there was a strange number on my phone but i was asleep so i dont know for sure if it was him because he didnt leave a message which he usually doesnt but i'm like 99% sure it was him. but i really want to call him and ask him did he call [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

i havent gone anywhere since Sunday either. I'm just not in the mood.
