Re: Income not enough?
I don't know what subject her degree will be in. She keep saying she wants to get her degree but have never said what field...
They had a pretty big fight. They usually take the kids out for breakfast on the weekends at the local eatery. This time however, it seems she was griping about the food, the service, how everything is so 'low end' and she's sick of living like that and she wants better for her kids. They should be eating at 'quality' places, getting 'quality' food and served by 'well-trained' people... she was trying to get her husband to see that those things will be out of their reach unless she's able to go back to school and get her 'degree'.
He told the kids they were done (I think she said they hadn't even begun to eat yet), grabbed them up and started out the door. He left money on the table for the food. She was so shocked, he almost left before she could move. Inside the car he said he was taking the kids to go and eat somewhere where nobody at his table would look down at the servers and the service and where nobody would look down on them. She was free to eat with those she feel are 'better'...
Lawd, I can't believe it's gotten this bad. Somehow her going back to school has deteriorated to a 'you think you're better than me' scenario... \o/
