mi walk away causea di mixup and blenda ting but it wasn't her fault.

ok, so mi know trisha (all names changed to protect di innocent) thru har husband danny. and even so mi nain really know him. mi used to hang wid him and her and di pickney dem caw dem was one of a few black families weh mi know when mi just move yah and di kids were cute and great distraction.

mi sistren cindy and mi used to always hang out - we go church, have lunch etc. well one day she bus out tell mi seh she a rooks a man who is not har husband. mi neva care fi know a who. mi was just trying to be a friend and help har get thru some trying times. fimi personal belief was dat she fi tan wid har husband who she have 4 pickney wid. den mi find out a who di odda man was. nuh danny [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70456-eyebrows.gif[/img]

how mi find out? him call mi wid almshouse argument. cindy supposed to outta town and him a call mi a ask ef mi did have lunch wid har dat day. den it was downhill from there.
- him stalk me (a she tell me how him cross di parking lot inna him cyar a time how long wi siddung inna di car a chat),
- him call mi and tell mi seh mi a bruk up dem relationship,
- him seh god mek har him wife,
- him tell har she haffi choose between me and him,
- him go pon church retreat come back and kneel down in front a mi a beg figiveness cawse himseh it was wrong fi ask har fi choose, (mi tell him mi nuh cater and mi nuh really believe him)
- two twos him start call again seh mi a bruk dem up,
- him threaten fi tell har husband and fi him wife,
- him threaten fi off himself.

di final straw was one day mi had lunch wid har. we all wok a di same place - wah dem seh bout nyam and ish inna di same place?

anyway, she love mi cooking so mi carry some curry chicken from dinner di previous night fi har. she suggest wi nyam it inna di cafeteria togedda. color me surprise wen danny come a mi desk come tell mi fi leff him di eff alone and seh me win, mi can tek har [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img]

a long time mi sistren dida tell mi fi repowt him but because a di pickney dem mi say no. but after dis him have di gall fi stop mi and try talk to mi. mi flash him off and report him pronto. him can manipulate mi fren but mi nuh inna dem mix up ting.

so mi report him to HR. him get sinting pon him file weh mean him will be fired immediately ef him mess wid mi or anyone else afta dat. mi sistren cindy bex wid mi. she choose him (caw she wanted closure or some such bull she said) and mi low dem.

later mi find out seh dat last encounter wen mi flash him off was him trying fi invite mi to him yard fi chrismus dinner. him wife (trisha) wanted mi dere and him did waan mi go pretend seh mi nuh know wat a gwaan. who cuda nyam food unda dat condition?

mi also hear seh him tell trisha seh mi cuss him off inna one "people of color" group meeting. so dats why mi nuh chat to dem or hang wid dem.

at di time mi did decide seh mi was ok wid him telling har dat ef it a go save dem marriage. and mi never waan nutten more fi do wid dem anyhow so ...

so cindy and me finally mek up after bout 2 years and mi was happy to hear dat she confess to har husband wat was going on and he was a gentleman. him actually apologize to har. dere was an incident in dem past, from college days dat him was still obsessing bout. some other guy who cindy was seeing. she choose to marry brad instead but brad had insecurities bout di former boyfriend. and fi 20 odd years him been following old boy career and life. it mean him wasn't too present inna him owna marriage and dere was sometings lacking. so dem get therapy and dem doing good. she leff di wok, took a huge paycut and went to work for the church children's ministry. she happy.

trisha and danny not happy. from how mi did hear it back den, dem was doing counceling but it nain really a work caw trisha neva know di full hundred and danny nain about fi give up di whole truth. but my understanding was that the relationship was struggling. i wished them the best (inna mi mind caw mi cut all contact) and mi continue wid mi life.

when him call and start ask ediot question mi figure seh it was him. and she (i assumed) had already told him seh mi know but dat mi never know dat di odda man was him. but him show him true color when him start accuse mi of tings.

so alla dis wrap up bout 3 years now. mi was at a point where mi cudn bear see him face and mi still nuh go to the people of color meetings at work caw a him run di show and him just sick mi stomach.

but den forgiveness start seep inna mi heart. but it ongle go as far as "hi" or a nod when mi see him inna di hallways. mi nuh see di wife or di kids in years. dem post all di kids halloween pics at work every year and he would take them in for pics so i would visit the website and see how the kids were growing - especially di baby since tings came to a head just about when she was born so mi neva really get fi know her.

anyway, so this morning mi hear that trisha have cancer [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] . they have 3 kids and they need help with meals and such while she goes thru treatment.
