However I think there are some very rare occasions when a person reaches the bottom, and actually wants to change.

Your question implies that the person is a habitual cheater and being with someone an dem cheat pan u one time is diff. from meeting someone who u know before hand has a pattern of behavior - WHY would i want to tek dat up wen there are millions of other perfectly aceeptable men out there?
