A few years back I was walking down my street as my son was about to pull off in his car. He had a young woman in the car with him. I waved, he waved back. I was about to continue on my walk, but stopped in my tracks as the young woman snapped her head towards my son and said "Whose that?!", face push and body language all aggressive. My son gave her *side eye* then said "[eediyat gyal] this is my mum. Mum this is [eediyat gyal]." Of course, her tune immediately changed and she gave me her 1000 watt smile and said "nice to meet you Mum". I did not acknowledge her. I looked at my son, said "see you later" and carried on down the road.

Needless to say I never saw her again.
