Family travel

this i know of and not just jewish families but families who generally plan ahead and have put some thought into family/estate planning i.e who will look after the children if both parents perish at the same time

reason being that if there is an accident the children aren't left alone (or with guardians) because one parent is still alive

I would imagine this is the reason. It's just such a macabre topic like parents who have more than one child for similar reasons.

Yep, this is why they did it.

I remember thinking whether they would do the same with car travel? When they went out, did they take separate cars? A person will more likely die in a car crash than a plane crash, right?

When our children were little, we made sure we had our wills made out as far as who will take care of them, etc.

Well in light of the new data do they take separate car trips now? What other precautions do they take to preserve the family? Do they not all attend big events together, eg? Would a family outing to a July 4th fireworks show be off the calendar?

I have heard of this with corporate executive teams. I also vaguely remember when my ex was travelling home for his mother's funeral there was talk about it not being wise for the siblings to travel together.

Really? I guess it happens with the POTUS and the vice president of the US- in at least one movie I saw I also didnt know it applied to sibs too. Very interesting.

personally when I travel I am usually knocked out suh it wouldn't matter to me whether the Mr is beside me or not. I wouldn't notice
