I guess people are never satisfied with what they have. Those who are single and travelling would trade that in for marriage in a heartbeat. Those who are married would give anything for the freedom of being uncommitedas you call it. Such is life.

I totally agree with you Milo man..I am at my best when I'm in a commitment relationship, one that doesn't have too much drama and with age come wisdom on dat note.
I have married friends and single friends and I hang with both but most times I am with my family and I love it. Also right now in this stage of my life, wanting to do things independantly, etc. Being Married or having someone in my corner gives me that flexible. Knowing someone got your back is a good feeling.

To each his/her own.

Sometimes you just have to go in the direction your life leads instead of trying to fight it, you would be surprise to see how wonderful it is. Just embrace it.

I think they both have their disadvantages,but I guess being single has more disadvantages than being in a contented married relationship.

Sometimes i do think about all the different things i could be doing if i had no kids and things like that but then i think back to when i was younger and i was the only one without kids having fun doing what i wanted to do when i wanted to do it while all my friends at least had one child and they used to be jealous of me because i didnt start having kids until i was 21. so now i look at some of them with big kids that can stay home and take care of themselves and then i think wow now SHE is the lucky one but that only last for a minute because then i realize that i only have a few more years before my kids can stay at home and take care of themselves and by then i will be ready to travel and do all the things i want to do [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]
so to answer the question i dont think single/uncommitted ppl have more fun...maybe at a certain point in time but if you have kids you can still do all those things just at a different time [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]
