Bridal Shower Gift

Is it too impersonal to give a gift certificate to Vickys or similar place along with a small gift?

I work with the lady and we have become friendly but is not like I know her taste in lingerie and lest I offend I was thinking a bingo baggy (as a joke cause she love joke) fi de 'not tonight honey' nights and a gift cert where she can choose what she really wants for the 'lets get this party started' moments.

what are your thoughts?

i looked around online and the other gift options are sooo predictable so I thought a little predicatable with someting funny would work.. thanks for your input !!
