That was an eye-opener for me also...especially when mi almoas tell awf di wooman fi juss leave me alone...mi shopping!

Anyway, she insisted...and this was some thirty years ago... and what a big difference.

I am converted now - no way I am going back to buying off the rack bras anymore. I see now that you get what you pay for with bras.

A couple years back a local dept store announced that they would be having a personal bra fitter (or sitn lakka dat) there. So I went and was sorely dissappointed. I don't think she knew her stuff anywhere close to how your salesperson knew hers... or maybe she jus neva like mi cause she kept throwing bras ova de fitting room door but gave personal attention to all the other women there

In any event, my problem<span style="font-weight: bold">s</span> with bras are as follows:

I <span style="font-style: italic">know</span> that the size I'm currently most comfortable in, is not the <span style="text-decoration: underline">right</span> size for me! But I'on know what to do!

Like Skelly, I don't want (or need) the padded bit, but that's the only way I can cummoflage the headlights!

I find that the sides of the girls tend to 'stick out' especially with new bras

I must have lucked out for true the woman I was dealing with turned out to be the owner of the store. Google I AM WOMAN and see if she has a store out east.

I dont think you can get the same level of treatment in a dept store, so maybe try one of those stand alone boutiques that sell only lingerie. The sales ppl should be more knowledgeable like what I experienced.

If your girls are spilling over the sides Nunya then your cup size is too small. I had the same issue and was surprised how many cup sizes I went up to get a good fit. Funny thing is I went down 4 inches in diameter, so what I thought was comfortable really wasnt.

The bras I bought didnt have padding but are nice thick lace so I dont have the headlights experience anymore.

I'm not much for lacy bras - mi wear nuff t-shirt an lacy bra an dem no gree...

I usually shop at speciality stores - like La Vie En Rose etc. Bras don't cost that much really, but I don't find the assistants to be very knowledgable... all they want to know is 'Does everything fit ok?'

So I'm on my own...

So as not to get the spillage at the sides, I will try on larger cups, but while they'll fit, if I hold them inplace, everything else is just way too big...

if u increase the cup size then also decrease the circumference too.

that is why I protested at first when the woman handed me bras to try on cause I thought they would be too big. but since the cup went up, the diameter had to go down (she explained but I'd be lying if I said I was paying much attention).

the ones are got are subtley laced, so even with the t-shirt I have on at the moment you cant make out the pattern.

I dunno, one of the brands I bought was Chanterelle like I mentioned above and it wasnt cheap atall - at least not what I am used to paying for
