Ordered a salwar kameez outfit...from India... for me to wear to a <span style="font-style: italic">summer</span> wedding and it just came.
Real pretty.

Took a little long though. Mail service...then courier.

Is that the norm?

How long did it take? I live in a city with an indian store on just about every corner so no need to order online.

see, you are old enough to figure that out

I actually<span style="font-weight: bold"> love </span>the above styles, especially the first one in green n pink
the bright colors are flattering against dark skin.

We have many Indian stores here too, so it would be easier to go into one of the stores and order than wait for the online thing.

Do you ever think of wearing these or the similar ones from Africa?

you know, one of my Indian friends put one on me long time ago but I have never worn one out in public. My mom has (I think ) to a wedding one time.

I am always a bit reticent about where cultural grab of other countries because I wonder if they look at it as offensive.... not saying the do - it is just what runs thru my mind.

the African ones are just a bit much for me (I know someone will come a cuss me for that )

I like the Indian outfits cause even though you are covered up, there is a sexiness to the outfits from how they hang on a woman's body.

I think it depends on the style. My friend had two made for me in Ghana and they are beautiful.
