Funny you mention the collar thing Jazz because wehn I looked at the jacket I had a specific shirt in mind to with it that I bought at Banana Republic in the summer. This one here:



I actually wasnt thinking about it going with anything else I have other light jackets to wear so for the price point it is at, I think I will be okay if I can only wear it with certain tops.

i did that so five years ago after seeing that movie with robert redford and jane fonda where they rescued the race horse, and jane kept on parading her bony bulimic butt in the high heeled boots with the jeans tucked inside.

thanks jazz! I <span style="font-weight: bold">love</span> that blouse and i decided that no matter the price I was going to buy it! Imagine my joy when I got to the register and the clerk discounted it by 30%

That's when I knew god wanted me to have it

Well, I could wear it with no-collar t-shirts as well, dont you think? I am still gonna buy it tonight though! Give me reason to find other blouses that will work well with it.


Come to think of it, I bought some bright colored pashima scarves for cheap this summer that would work well for covering up and funky collar issues

mi nuh wear nuh coat last year, cause mi did overheat every striking day and i take public transportation, suh mi shouldan cold, but mi always hot.

suh mi juss a guh stick to a sweater coat or a vest this year.

nice jackets and coats too.. I dont usually need one because i just go from car to indoors

the boots are nice but we dont get enough cold weather to justify them and mi cant stand when mi foot dem hot

Actually Kia, I go from house to garage to indoor heated parking too, so the jacket is just for style and fashion for me.

When I have to actually feel the cold around here when I am outside that jacket wont even cut it. I have much heavier jackets for moments when I experience real winter around here

Even the boots - they arent lined so they are for show and not to actually protect against cold weather. Again, I have more practical gear for that!

Well, thanks everyone for the inupt. I'm gonna pull out the credit card and spend a bit of cash tonight

I am ALWAYS cold, my indoor temp have to be at least 75 but for some reason last winter I was hot every day, so I stopped wearing my coat and just stuck to my puffer vest.

by the way mi still a wear slippahs guh work

I guess cause i doan go out more dan so from car to garage dat it doesnt seem to work for me. so I take off the coat in the car but if I am in the city and have to walk a block or two I guess I could rock a coat.

aie sah! What a sight you must be!

Yes, I drive but I cant say that the coats make me hot while I am driving....I am clever enough to not have the heat turned on high

Plus what happen if you get stranded somewhere and you dont have on warm enough gear?
