I am doing some research for my sister she had long thick black shiny hair all the way to mid back..I dont know what happened but since she had my nephew her hair started falling out at first I thought it was just the extra growth from pregnancy shedding but it seems her hair was damaged from being over processed and is dry and brittle so she decided to go back natural.

I would try the samples before spending $50-60 for full-size bottles.

This looks like it would be good for afro hair that is natural or in locks. It might be too heavy for relaxed or less coily hair.
