Jaded, I looked at Jasmine's and the other brand you listed and they do use unrefined shea butter oil.

I have a second scrub from Nubian Heritage that does contain shea butter as a moisturizer as well. That one I dont think I can get away with using

well when u asked the question, I did have to think for a second too

The shescentiit (sp) scrubs look beautiful I was so sad I couldnt use them

Thanks though for looking out for a sista

My mom is going to be in NYC next month so I am hoping I can find a brand I really like and make her stock up for me

so, I got brave a few days back and decided to try the Lavendar &amp; Wild flower Body Wash from Nubian Heritage that I got. Now it is made with Shea butter but it smells sooooo good that I thought, I'll give it a try

So, I used it 2 nights ago......was rich and silky...and no rash

I was kinda excited....thinking maybe I can pull this off after all

so, this morning I try again this morning and I am happily lathering away with the Body Wash.

And then......

I get to washing my &quot;nether region&quot; and lord have mercy, sweet Jesus save me

It started with a small tingling feeling and then morphed into straight up fire-breathing pain &quot;down there&quot;

It did hot


so I try to quickly wash it all off and still nuttin is cooling down I turn off the shower and run some cold water to get some relief


I had to take a Tynenol before I left the house this morning cause it still did burn when I put on my panties

I had a meeting with someone today and every time I shifted in my seat and my panties rub up on the inflammed skin I would wince My colleague kept asking me what was wrong so I lied and said an old hip injury

my arms did start to rash up a bit, later in the day but not like down there That -ish was instantaneous!

still freakin stings but at least I dont need painkillers anymore

I'm just gonna stick to the Chagrin Valley soaps and be done

Tilly, I normally dont use separate wash for there....kinda dont think it is so necessary....well now I'll just keep the Shea products away from there
