What do you consider Natural Hair?

I feel that natural hair is when there is no chemical treatment or coloring done to it. It's they way God gave you.

For instance, a co-worker said she doesn't like my twist, because I used fake hair. She said my hair is not natural(real).

I told her that my hair is natural, my own hair. There is never any chems used in my hair.
I told her that her permed hair with multi coloured highlights is not natural. That's not how she came out that's not natural hair, it's only natural length

For me natural hair that is not chemically altered. The hair used for the twist etc is just a hair style that is worn by people with both chemically treated hair and natural hair. I'm not sure how I feel about the colour because I dont know how it affects the hair.

The colour makes a difference only between natural hair and virgin hair. Virgin hair is hair that has had no chemical treatments what so ever. Natural hair is hair that the structure of the hair shaft has not been altered. maybe that means hair that is pressed is not natural?

what the hell do I know? I only know to donate hair to lock of love it has to be virgin...

u know some people if them press (or flat iron) or blow dem natural hair out too frequently that can change the hair texture (and therefore the structure of the hair shaft?)...(suh me read pon one next board)..so that mean them not natural nuh more at that point.?..

me nuh really know..just my ramblings.

you know CB you might have a point there my hair is a mass of curls and I always wanted it strait, so I will get the hairdresser to flat iron or blow. Guess what I am loosing the curls, it is not as silky as before and getting straighter.

never satisfied with what you have now that it is getting more coarse and straighter I want back my curls friends say they want my curls go figure

I always wanted mine straight too but it won;t take relaxer (yes I tried) and mi too lazy to blow an flat iron (it tek long) so once in awhile I get the hairdresser to do it but that's maybe once or twice a year. I never notice any damage though...unlike wid di damn dye
