yes. needless to say, i think i'll go back to the rouge preferences caz that thing was hell to work with. my hair, as reported above, was very soft.

i don't have color - tried it once and it looked like my hair was drawn on my head

i wash my hair infrequently - too much washing removes the natural oils

i don't use grease on it - the buildup results in dandruff and smells

my dreads are soft and alive - less is best in my case

the mixture is like a substitute for hairoil so I don't wash it out. The best part is it disolve in the hair/scalp because these oils are natural, they do not leave build up residue or that waxy look/feeling that weighs your hair down or make it look dull.

that is the beaut of this mixture, my hair doesn't have buildup and so far no dandruffs. My hair is bouncy and free.

I had to do something because my hair was dry and the dandruff was killing me

i like washing my hair everyday, caz i sweat nuff. so leaving oil on it overnight, is no big dealie.

My hair is Natural and long what work for me are these products
from Sally's Beauty Supplies.I wash my hair one time per week.Also eat lots of protein,fruits,vegetables,and drink 8-10 glass of water per day. Exercise and take your vitamins and you should he ok.

I mean when I wash it it shrinks to my head and looks like a very short 'fro, but if you take a comb and a blow dryer to it, you're looking at shoulder length hair. So is the shrinkage that i'm worried about

Phatty, if you are planning on elminating the weaves and thing and wear your natural hair, find a style/routing that works for you, but remember, natural hair, natural products

My hair shrinks plenty too, but that is the least of your worries.

Look for shampoos (sans the sulfate) and moisturizing conditioners. Pay close attention to label for styling products. Since you say your hair is really coarse, you will need to stay away from products with alcohol because that will SERIOUSLY DRY IT OUT EVEN FURTHER.

Raw Shea Butter is excellent for natural hair.

The thing with natural hair is you have to go through trial and error. The bottom line is to stick with NATURAL PRODUCTS....READ LABELS.

My hair shrinks a lot too. To reduce shrinkage you can twist your hair after washing - that will lengthen it a bit. Blow drying and roller setting also stretch the curls out too. Still natural hair in good health is elastic and will &quot;draw up&quot;.
