speaking of q-tips dont use dem fi clean out unnu ears


long story mi end up a eye, ear and throat Dr cause mi couldn't hear fi bout 2 weeks.


from now on mi a leff di qtip to make up removal/smudge eyeliner

i had read a couple places not to use them but mi juss ignore them cause after all I wanted to clean my ears right ?


the Dr will

flush the ear with water from a special bottle(about 1 quart in my case)
then use an instrument to push way down into the ear to get out the dirt
then flush with more water
then vacuum with another thingy to get the ear dry

repeat as necessary until she sees the ear is clear.


then you can hear again.


feels like mi ears drum was gwine buss with all the water

noooooooo she said anythng bigger than your <span style="font-weight: bold">elbow</span> should not be placed in your ears (only under a Drs care)

So di doc seh is q-tip matta stuck in deh ar yuh push di sinting back eena yuh earhole?

Q tips - had the same problem 3-4 years ago now I am 40/20 deaf - a piece of cotton was left in my ear where it became infected. To me the pain was hatter than birthing babies. Eventually had to have an operation to my right ear to insert some 'tube' in order to hear a little better and to travel on a plane. My ENT and Audiologist(sp) cleaned up had to see him every 3 months for over 1 year - now I go to have him clean my ears every 3 - 4 months.

Mi tap use qtip inna mi ears long time when dat same thing happen to mi Gen.

Now I use the drops in my ear couple time a week and every time mi bathe mi use one washcloth an wipe in around mi ears...

Fram di time mi a pickney, dem always tell wi tuh never put anyting inna yuh ear dat is pointier den yuh elbow. A soh mi live falla di advice up tuh now.
