I have a friend who lives by that rule. She always travels in her real good stuff because she believes that she is treated much better than when she wears what seems to be 'yard clothes'.

Yes I dress up cause is only once a year I get to go home so mi have fi look good. One year my cousin go down inna some shorts and ting an the way dem hangle him dem tell him say dem tink him was a farm worker!!

I dress in comfortable clothes..that is ..clothes that I refer to as loungewear....

did this before I had children...and now that I have one that I travel with...I must have loungwear....clothes that can handle spit ups and juice spillage...and if it stain ...I won't cry about it....

no way I want to be in the airport with a screaming pickney a walk up and dung inna tight pants and high heels....cause somebody bound fi dead that day....

When I travel, I first go for comfort, but of course, all my clothes are nice garments.

I dress casual yet elegant as when I am out going places other than the routine errand runs..

Mi see ppl dress up inna 'church' clothes when dem traveling. Some like dem a go a club and others dress 'professional even when annuh bizniz dem going fah'.

Whne you was a likkle girl, yu did have yard clothes and dress-up clothes. Right? Right.
So what mi sayign is that nowadays, thigs so slack that people wi go out eena dem nightie...if dem get a chance.

So, question...regardless of how loose the dress codes have become, do you think that people will
treat you according to how well-dressed you are...i.e. equating well-dressed to having status and money.
