if you're gonna spend $700 for a natural look something somewhere is opressing you.

Something was opressing me...my hair
Just figure I would pay the one time price (it was hard coming off the $400), however, it was one of the best $400 I have ever spent. Did not want to dread, I like the neater look of the sista locs.

yes - i did relaxer, jherri curl, fade, afro, braids and then i finally hit the wall and wanted to be my natural self - someone reminded me that braids were just another form of a weave
did the corporate career thing - decided at some point - i wasn't going to be the president, vice president in corporate america - so just be myself - and for my 39th birthday - i dreaded
it was nice to be in control of my own hair - no lockticians when i dreaded - but i could wash, twist and maintain my dreads MYSELF, walk in the rain, swim, sweat and just live my life
there are no more "bad hair days" and that's a confidence booster in itself
I too want to come to a point in my life where the weather does not dictate how my hair looks. ray:
When its hot & humid - my hair is a frizz ball if I do not have enough heat applied to it along with it being drenched in oil.
When it's cold - it gets dry and sorta dull.
I want to be free.
I've been doing everything I know possible to create a healthy environment for my hair. So far this is what I have been using.
1. Hair, Skin & Nail Vitamins - (GNC brand)
2. Flaxseed Oil Capsules 2x's daily (GNC brand)
3. A vitamin prescribed by a doctor called Folbic which is Folic acid, with Vitamin b-6/b-12
4. Cellfood Liquid Silica - 2x's daily
5. Wild growh Hair Oil applied to my scalp every 3-4 days.
6. Drink carrot juice (several glasses a day)
Now what more can I possibly do?
I hope this all helps me grow back some of the hair I have lost and start with my natural journey leading up to locs!
