Tanning Salon or Tan from a bottle....the brand name eludes me right now. I personally don't partake from either but have families member who need them even in the summer.....the sun alone just do not do it for them

Fake tans - have never been able to figure it out. I sold cosmetics a while back and found it quite confusing - dark skinned people looking for skin whiteners and fair skinned people looking for fake tans [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Guess the grass is greener on the other side?

Sue - how long it stays on depends on the product and if the product was applied following directions - you can swim with it - and yes it stains everyting it touches, including your hands, so extreme care is needed when appling.

I was into all these self tanning creams when I was in my early twenties. Bought every brand there was out there and went crazy with them. I applied some one night on my face and I fell asleep before it had completely absorbed into my skin. I woke up and my entire face was streaked with orange lines!

Never again.
