Maybe where you are,..but in the UK it`s a very common fashion accessory for most men,.....I wear a scarf around the neck,admittedly not similar to the one in the photo.

Newt, I get wearing a scarf in winter, a nicelong knitted scarf either..or my favorite Burberry print scarf but c'mon...those this not ring you as colorful????
