My knapsack has a pocket for music gadgets. You can't see the gadget from the outside, but it has small openings for wires and such.

I wouldn't recommend these bags to anyone that lives in a city with crime -- which is probably most of us. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

from a safety standpoint it's a good idea, but in the grand scheme of things you would probably want to look at this as akin to the club for your car. will it stop a thief? no - but it just might be enough of a deterrent. saw a news report some time ago about folks being robbed for ipods and thieves targeting individuals sporting the distinctive white headphones. that was the clue to the thieves that these folks were carrying ipods.

consider the price of these devices (i'm planning on upgrading from my 20gb to a 60gb soon which runs $399) and you can see why. my recommendation to a woman rocking an ipod and not opposed to the style of these purses is to get the purse of something similar and get a better pair of headphones (the stock ipod headphones suck!!) and get them in the traditional black color.

Nope.. think they are ugly.. and besides you dont need to build a pocketbook around an ipod.. how absurd....

but then again.. consumerism....

i only use mine on the plane.. and when away as my stereo.. at home.. it sits in a drawer

the pocketbook is just another in a long line of items designed around ther Ipod....personally I am happy they are doing it...adds more flexibility/range to using the Ipod
