I've been looking for boots without a super high heel (I'm fairly tall). And without a pointy toe. I found these, 2 1/2" heel. What do you think?
I don't live in snowy area, either. Pretty mild weather...
If I was a boot wearin kinda woman, which I was back in the day... these would have been right up my alley. Verrry sexy...
I've never had real leather boots before. I've only had cheap fake leather boots. They always looked 'not quite right' to me. Been looking for ones I like for a couple of years! I'd like something I'll wear for a long time. These might be a bit too trendy with all the straps, but I want 'em anyway
I don't think they're trendy at all. I know I would have loved 'em in the 70's, 80's, 90's...
I think the basic shape of the shoe, the toe is neither too pointy nor too square, the heel isn't too high and I don't think that particular heel type will ever be totally out of style.
As for the straps??? I like 'em and they're not too much that they're something I'd call funky.
Now if the heels were lucite...
coming from a boot queen. they're nice. that colour brown can be worn with everything. before you wear the leather boots (depending on the quality a di boot):---> make sure you take it to the shoemaker to have a proper lift and toe tip installed. your boots will last longer. and if you're gonna spend any kind of $$$ on real well made leather boots the $25 spent is a good investment.

Shows how much I know! What do you need a lift for? I'm already too tall!
What's a toe tip??

the white thing on the tip of the heel is the lift. they help save your boot/shoe from wearing down. if the sole is leather it will wear down faster and you need a rubber tip put on.
sorry. picture too big
