one can run round the house with the cats chasing them and both get exercise </div></div>
I should invest in some of those this winter, B.C. used to have mild weather in winter, just lots of rain, all of a sudden cold place in Canada getting the mild weather and B.C. getting the cold weather....
I go in and out so much I just dress warm to begin with and I don't like dressing and undressing every time. I usually keep my heat around 60. I crank it up to 68 or so at shower time just to make sure the heat is flowing at that time. Then it's back into warm stuff and heat back down. If I'm staying home for the day and not going outside I'll turn it up to 65.
Ok this here thing would drive me nuts!!!
First of all, all that blanket to drag around, and the big sleeves would leave my poor arms cold. I'd have to wear a long sleeved something then be too hot! nope, couldn't get into that at all.
Now this?
if ya'll lived up here I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that you'd be wearing one of those! Probably under one that is quilted, and you would probably have a turtleneck under the flannel. In Dec Jan and Feb you'd probably be wearing a t shirt under the turtleneck. Yep. That's how we dress up here in the northwoods! Yes, in the house!
Cuddle duds for daytime are a MUST but no, we don't wear our long underwear to bed...
Flannel lined jeans are huge fun!
And I wouldn't go outside without these on and since I'm in and out they stay on for the day. But they are mooshide and made to handle the temp changes. My feet don't sweat in them at all. Basically they are moccasins and I only wear regular socks no heavy ones.
They feel like slippers on your feet
And I have a pair of the moccasins for in the house at night..
You can bet the bank that when the weather turns that is how I'll be dressed when I stop by here to chat with you all from 9 am to dark from then on until the end of March or early April!
At night it's usually flannel jammie bottoms with a tshirt and a long sleeve something like a flannel shirt that you take off for bed.
I'm gonna get an electric blanket for three dog nights.
