Wearing the hair in a protective style to protect the ends is great for reducing breakage also. As someone said earlier, it stops the wind whipping your hair about and causing additional dryness. A bun, chignon, french braid. Any kind of style that keeps those ends tucked in.

I think i gwine stop trying to find my MIA hairdresser and just keep it braided up till end of february (i was thinking that at first, but i wasnt 100%)

If you keep your hair in braids, remember to spray daily with a good moisturiser.

Tip: Keep away from any moisturiser that has anything ending with &quot;cone&quot; as an ingredient.

just asking, don't you think braiding on a regular damages the hair folickle (sp) and I have only braided my hair once on the beach in jamaica from one of the braiding ladies and ouch

done too tight, too small, too frequently, yes it can be damaging

i haven't braided my hair since then. maybe i'll do it for dec- february....or maybe not bother. ...me nuh know yet.
