when u all that do it put them on, how exactly they come off?
I have never had nail tips but on and as a rule dont care for any of that but I *may* do it tomorrow. My manicurist always says not to do it if u already have healthy strong nails and I dont know what means exactly.
So I am guessing it is the taking them off part that are hard on them.
if u have the patience u can sit there and let them dissolve in a solution mi cyan memba di name rite now. but it takes a while.
or sometimes the nail tech will use one a di same tips and go btwn ur nail and the fake and rip off the fake. it sometimes hurt a bit dat way...but it all depends how loose the nails u have on are at the time. sometimes they will cut off the tips wid clipper and then file and file till ur down to just ur nails.
mi a hell fi bite off mines and pick dem off miself.
damage to ur real nail depends how much filing the nail tech did while u were gettin the tips on.
the best way to take them off is the use the solution. in my experience dat did the least amount of damage. but nomatter wah dem tell u, there will be damage.
my suggestion to u is get the powdered gel. if u have nice long nails and u dont want to get the tips put on u can get a colored gel/ acrylic fill....instead of being clear its the color of watever nail polish u like. as the fill grows out u can just touch it up with the matching nail polish until u ready fi go back fi a next fill.

okay thanks for the tip. I dont have a clue what the powdered gel looks like but I will mention it to the lady tomorrow and have her show me an example. Plus it sould like a more natural look that I perfer.
I never do my nails expect when I travel. This time I'd like something that lasts a bit of time cause I cant be bothered with the painting your fingernail business every week.
then powdered gel is wat u need. it is very thin. and very strong. it will last longer dan the acrylic. However, after about two weeks u may need a fill as ur nails will grow out. neways the nail tech will explain all dat to u.

mi forget. lol. some women complain bout dat once dem put it under the light to dry. i dont have that problem. the problem i have is if my nails were quite short to begin with then i find dat some glue gets on my skin btwn the finger quit as dem call it a yard...dats wat hurts me. all freaking nite long mi inna pain. but after one day u be ok.
and mi sure mi ask the nail ooman if it sting enuh

don't do it - and with your skin sensitivity it could be a nightmare
what i suggest to folks with already good nails - is to put the gel or acrylic over your natural nails - no tips - when it starts to grow out - instead of a "touchup" just use your nail file and smooth it out between your real nail and the gel - keep doing this until the gel is gone - trying to take it off - even with acetone - may impact the nail bed
now the nail technician is going to try and talk you out of this method - because she will lose money because you won't need regular maintenace - every 2 weeks or so
for a simple fix for your holiday this will work real good -
good thing is i trust my nailperson cause she wasnt too keen about putting them on in the first place so she said she wanted to be the one to take them off.
