Why do so many people get obsessed with clothes and willing to go into debt just to remain "in style" - an ideal that changes from week to week? Really, a person is more than the clothes that they wear. Those who choose to define themselves based on the clothing that they wear will find themselves, as people, fading from relevance as quickly as their clothes fall out of fashion.
I dress for comfort and maybe people will make assumptions about me because of it but that's ok. I have nothing to prove and don't need acceptance based on something as profoundly unimportant as the brand of shoes or style of suit that I wear.
