Re: Natural Makeup Look for Dark Skin
The lip colour reminds of the stuff I used to wear back in the 90s... maybe she was going for a retro ting?
Anyways de whole yeye application tek nigh on 10 mins... now, really, who has that much patience???

I think everything came out nicely and yes, that was way too much drama with the eyes for minimal results. I think she could have accomplished the same thing with 3 colors.
Next natural look project needs to be the hair. I don't know whether it was a regular wig or a bad weave, but it needs some work. Aside from fixing that part with no scalp showing, it needs to be thinned out. It is way too much.

Reminds me of when I went to the Mac counter for one of dem usual makeup ting and mi neva like the drama they created around the eyes. I was going on out that evening and wanted to look spruced up ..but man they made my eyes pulp out wid the layers of colors. EEKK!!
Ended up washing off the makeup
I feel the same about the model in the video.. too dramatic for me but it fit her. Not too keen on the blush color either

Re: Natural Makeup Look for Dark Skin
I usually make out pretty good at the Mac store, but I did get jacked up by a gay male makeup artist in Phipps Plaza. I can't remember whether he was at the counter in Parisians or Neiman Marcus, but he had a line waiting just for him so I thought it would be good.
I signed up for a time and walked around the mall and basically spent no money until it was my time. Where I should have been was there looking at some of the women he had made up. My eyelids made me look like I was mixed with peacock. It was wayyyyyyyyy too much for daytime. Much to his disgust, I left with only the powder.
