which looks better on older women?
I am being encouraged to grow my hair...just for a change... but the short cut makes me look chic - er. Have had that cut now for twenty-plenty years.

I think it doesn't really matter on one's "age'... regardless of age the shape of a person's face/head will dictate the most suitable style for any person. Although there is likely a lot I could do with longer hair, when it gets to a certain point it changes ones appearance -period. I just got my hair cut - and I like it very short partially for ease of preparation, but I look 'fresher', younger and with more energy... when it is longer - I look older and 'tired'. Some people will look great with either long or short.



Same holds for hair colours if you are in the habit of dyeing.

Shandra, you're a lovely lady and could wear your hair at any length.
