I have never lived in a place that celebrates Halloween as vigorously as Atlanta. We even celebrate it at work, complete with costumes.
The most fun yet risque costumes I have worn were catwoman and a french maid (not at work of course). I think that the pirate costume with the thigh high boots I wore at work was inappropriate but Pirates of the Caribbean was our theme so oh well.
Just a basic witch is fine with me and causes so little stress. I've gotten so lazy that I put the candy out in plastic pumpkins on tables outside the front door with a "you can can help yourself but don't take to much" note posted above.
One year a couple of the little crumbsnatchers ran off with both pumpkins but that only happened once lol. They tend to be pretty honest and are usually walking with their parents anyway. Come what may, I am fed up with running to the door though.
