How much time do you spend getting ready in the morning ? Hair , makeup, accessories etc.


I just cannot get with it.....after my shower..I just throw on my clothes and out the door...if I had to do anything else I would have to get up early...and I really love my sleep... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70394-sleeping.gif[/img]

.. since weather start warm up. wash & wear hair (out or in a ponytail), throw on clean clothes , sandals and gawn

I leave the house at 8:40 to be at work for 9.

Alarm go off 8am..if mi hungry mi will get up..if not mi hit snooze and usually hop up by 8:15.

Enough time to bathe, brush teeth..press out one blouse..push mi hair back an gaan.

Mi have hummuch pair a wukpants..an one ton a blouse so mi pants den heng up an iron..juss fimme decide which handbag mi gwaan wear..das how mi pick out mi tops.

No, I doan wear make up. Regardless mi nose gwaan start shine bout 10:30 anyways..

an mi nuh usually comb mi hair unless it's a friday it will fling up inna ponytail..an mi juss fling wata inna it, and put it inna one wid a bubbles. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

It takes me an hour and 15 mins to get ready in the mornings, and it's not like mi have hair fi style, nuff jewellery fi decide pon, clothes fi press, pickney fi tek care of... I get up at 7am...shower...moisturize body, which I do slowly...then I take my makeup bag, and go back upstairs, into bed beside husband, where I lay dung inna bed wid him for 20 mins, just chatting, while I'm applying makeup...sometimes I doze out...nowadays mi tend to go right back to sleep. LOL! Then it's rush, rush, rush to get out the house! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

If I go back into bed once I am up...I will be asleep in a couple of minutes...

I get dressed and put on moisturizer in about 10 mins then it's out the door...hair in ponytail and that's it...no makeup

Mi affi admit mi face & body maintenance is a bit more dan dat.

Evening:
Shower - use scrub and moisturize, remove excess bodily hair as needed
After mi noh mi nah go out again fi de evening
Wash face, use scrub or mask
Rinse, put on vit c ,night cream , yeye cream

Mawning:
shower (10 min)
Wash face,Tone, anti aging serum, sunscreen, skin perfecting serum (has some cool nutrients), face power, mascara and lipstick (5 min fi all a face bizness)

fling on casual clothes, pony tail or out and gawn

i'm told i take a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng shower...other than that...it takes me no effort to be dressed. I rarely wear anything that needs ironing...i comb my hair once and wear zero makeup. I brush my teeth...eat my breakfast....and i'm ready to go.

getting out of the house is the problem...I'm up at 5....don't leave til around 830 ish... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

moisterize body;
try to figure out what to wear (20-30 minutes) try on and discard;
try to find matching shoes;
match accessories;
2 minutes to do makeup
out the door

Hubby wakes me up at 7:00am right before he is out the door for work but don't get out of bed before 7:15. I make my way to my son's bedroom where I wake him up and we cuddle in bed for another 15 mins. Then I go shower. Depending if I have to shave or not my shower takes 5 to 10 minutes. Moisturize body and face, get dressed, put on make up and comb hair. By now it is 8am and I make my son's breakfast. While he eats, I blow dry my hair and then we are ready to leave at 8:30am. I am very slow in the morning and even slower on the weekends. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70394-sleeping.gif[/img]

wow!!! some a oonu able fi do nuff tings inna di mawning man- all cook breakfass. mygadaheavin!!! mi nuh know how it possible, but it seem fi take me a hour fi leave mi house- and I couldnt tell di last time mi lotion anyting pan mi baddy [img]/forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] much less dweet inna di MAWNING!!!

i dont know why it take me so long- mi nuh drink coffe nor tea- or if mi able, mi zap a cuppa and carry it inna di car wid me. makeup? what better time to mascara than while driving 60 mph on way to work!

I work nights..so it's crawl out a bed (literally) at 10:15pm. Take a fast shower (10 mins), turn on iron, put on likle foundation and lipgloss, iron scrubs (yes mi iron dem), kiss Jalen and Mr. Hubby goodbye, den out di door.
