Can I just say that 125 looks so different now. It made me kinda sad. Maybe because it was early on a Sunday morning and empty... I remember before Giuliani got rid of the vendors, I used to walk up and down 125 with friends, shopping, usually buying more from the vendors than the stores. It was always packed. I didn't get a chance to look, but does anyone know if that African cloth store is still there? Sorry for the tangent...

I know what you mean about 125 not the same..the last time I visited NY and went to 125 it just doesn't have the same effect like before. When I lived in NY a few years back, going down to Harlem maded me feel so rootsy and cultural. I too use to support the vendors on the sidewalk more that the stores.
