Yesterday I was walking behind this woman in the parking lot. She had on these shoes that almost looked like the Dr. Scholl's shoes. When she stopped to put her groceries in the car I told her that her shoes reminded me when I was young and everybody was wearing Dr. Scholl's shoes.
A wooden shoe with a lump under the balls of your feet, your toes are suppose to grab hold of the lump and your claves suppose to be nice and fit. You would hear clicking and clacking in the hallways, and if you were almost late to class the clacking would get faster. Of course they lady started laughing cause she could relate, she said "Yes I remember those hard wooden shoes" [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] They did come in handy and doubled as a weapon, when a boy would start to pluck your nerves. My friend and I did see a lady yesterday walking with 2 males for lunch. She had on these high heeled shoes with a small strap around her heel. I think they call them sling backs anyway she was walking like a horse her foot kept sliding and this was on the pavement. Just wait until she hits that slippery floor.
