How to Measure Your True Bra Size

I am in the market for new bras so I thought I would share this with you. Went down in bust size but cup size remains the same


<span style="font-weight: bold">Instructions</span>

things you'll need:
Tape measure

Place the tape measure around your body, just under your breasts. Keep your arms down at your side. Make sure the tape measure remains horizontal.

Check the measurement. The number on the tape measure is your true bust, but for fitting bras you need to round to the nearest even number. So if your bust is 33 1/2 inches, round up to 34 inches.

Place the tape measure around your back and across your nipples. It should wrap around loosely, not as tight as possible. Take note of the measurement.

Figure out your cup size. Compare the two measurements. If there is less than one inch difference, you're an AA cup, one inch an A, two inches a B, three inches a C, four inches a D, and so on. That's it! You have your bust and cup size!

This was a good post Skelly. Enough women don't get anywhere near the right size.

I had some spillage years ago and I'm not heavy on top. Why would I have a foursome? I swallowed my pride and went in to Dillard's and got measured and had the whole thing explained to me.

so true. before i had my breast reduction i was buying 46DD bras (largest in regla stores). after i had my reduction i found out my bust size is actually 38 and my cup size is NOW a C/D. before it was a triple or another letter well past D

when i buy Lorna lingerie i give her the squeeze test,,then go to the store such as Victoria Secret and show the sales lady with my hands

I have a problem with spillage.....I am a 34 D and<span style="font-weight: bold"> i aint....repeat aint </span>going to a bigger cup.
