Rinses

I have been told by my hair dresser to start using rinses and not permanent dyes..
Yes, I like to color my hair, and like to change colors.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70390-shhh.gif[/img]
now my question is...
What exactly is a rinse??

in Jamaica I know it as a light dye that washes out after several shampooing. It doesnt show in your hair unless you are in tungsten(hot sunlight or other very bright lights) lights. Then your hair usually takes on a orange or purple, or whatever colour the dye, tint.

rinse comes in various colors as hair dyes it does have any ammonia in it so when its applied to the hair its does show as bright and last for maybe two to three shampoos

yeah it should say so.
I been thinking about a Henna rinse. Ever hear of them 7's?
It all natural, only colors are aulburn, dark brown and clear. I have to research, we did these in an upscale salon
back in the 70's. Henna is an ol Egyption coloring. Your hair comes out soso so so so nice. Its simular to a thearpy for the hair. Im gonna look into it more, like I said havent used it in the shop for ages.

The rinse is a good way to go to test out diffrent colors till u find one yuh waan go perm wid [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

Only bad thing is it wash out very quickly an depending on ur hair color an the color yuh use it might not show too brightly in ur hair (or only when inna light /sun), and it easy fe rub off pon yuh pillow, sheets, clothes, towel, etc. an hell an powdahouse if yuh get ketch inna de rain [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
