the show is set in ellin lavar's salon on the upper west side of manhattan...she has a lot of celebrity clients...and regla people..

but dem juss hire one new assistant and a bare jokes...

I watched the episode where she hire one of her customers as a contractor and di ooman mash up her place and when dem put the expensive weave pon di wrong ooman head and the woman did not say a word when dem was putting it in! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

I missed the part with the contractor...but I saw her doing the weave and the chick seh "are those highlights" [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

2,000 and she chop off the weave dung to 4 inches [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70400-talktohand.gif[/img]

I don't know if 2,000 is just for the hair..it seems like it..since the owner did say that she has to put up 1,200 to reorder the chick's hair (that went into the odda gyal head)

You know when dem said she did Venus and Serena name me say, oh no me wouldn't put that in my claim to fame cause most of the time fi dem hair look like somebody cross the street say mek dem do a ting, dem weave neva look right yet.

You have to watch the one with the contractor cause me say, how much money you have you really going to let yu client who you know nothing bout her work come renovate yu place? Sure enough the woman sheg har. The place looks ok, but you are right it is not what I would think a top salon would look like.
