Summer vacation style and fashion

I am trying to figure out what style clothing to take on my summer vacation... checked out my closet and nothing but so so work clothes. One and two "going out on the town" wear. I seriously do not have a social life at home. Work<->Home.

There is nothing appealing at the clothing stores (Macy's, Dillards). I don't want to be dressed in jeans pants but will take couple with me. I like skirts, stylish tops and stylish dresses...especially love wrap dresses.

I need suggestions - I know my days will be spent on the beach, visiting friends. The evening lots of socialising and entertainment. I want to look smashing.

Come with the suggestions or ideas...

dolce &amp; gabana is pushing alll white...natural fabrics of course...have to seh some of the pieces look like Jamaican cutwork...but they r beautiful indeed...i use to get a cutwork piece each trip to Ja..haven`t in about 5yrs but use to get this lady who has or had a store in Devon House shops to do a custom piece for me...last piece i got was to wear to VP 20+ annivesary show...but i love Jamaican cutwork...use to love House of Ralph

Target - seriously. Their summer clothing is stylish and affordable, especially if the season doesn't last long where you live so you don't want to spend heaps of money.

You can also get simple, nicely cut clothing; accessorize with flashy sandals and bling without breaking the bank. Plus they're easy to pack.

Which of these styles resembles you the most, Sandi?

Stormmey: Very nice swim wear and the second 2-piece resembles what I currently have in stock...

Bizi: I love BCBG and have a few of their styles; usually can find their wear on sale at Dillards...

evano: I was thinking of white.. those really nice summer linen wear in pants style. My only problem with white is I have to be extra careful... 5 mins after mi put on anything in white sinting come stain Hmm... that store in Devon House sounds very familiar.

BlackStar: Target has surprised me a few times with what they have and yes I do not want to break the bank. lol! I love white close fitted shirts with rolled sleevs, just like the first pic. I see my style in some of those pics... the woman in the background wearing the close fitted black dress is definitely my wear, same the green dress with belt but I'd lose the jacket. I'm usually not fond of dresses that look like a tent or too blowsy looking... I'll check out Target.

Sandi (&amp; Ms Exced) -H&amp;M has a summer collection, all white, unnu mus can find few pieces.

Sandi-see if you can find lightweight jersey pieces, the jersey won't wrinkle much and easy to pack

one nice thong sandals for night and stylish sneakers for long walking/hiking during the day

SandiF - check Victorias Secret online - they have sexy summer dresses, skirts, capris etc.

Also check Forever 21 for trendy and cheap summer clothes - they won;t last beyond this season but at their prices you won;t really care.

Looking at Victoria Secret... like the spandex dresses.

I definitely should stay away from anything that is going to get crushed in luggage bags.

i am feeling the new tie-dye look in the earth tones juxtaposed wid odda motifs...have u seen those SandiF....they r wiked...nice things from short to long dresses..

I'm not usually good at shopping for anything that is not for work...
