anyway, me buy some wha day deh, and me haffe seh, it have something called cleanser, and it noh cleanse well me tink.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
a so it fe stay?
the makeup noh fe come off when u wash with the water? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70402-thinking.gif[/img]

You need a cleanser and a toner if you're going to wear makeup. Makeup leaves a lot of residue on your skin that plain water alone cannot remove. If you don't remove all the grime from your face, you will get acne.

oh great..
me wash it twice with the cleanser, and wiped with a towel, and me noticed that me face still had residue of makeup..
so me go bade, and use the regular soap..

7777 you shouldn't wash your face with bath soap. You will be able to purchase toner wherever you purchased your cleanser. Personally I would buy the same brand.

After cleansing, pour toner on a cotton ball and apply gently to remove all the impurities from your face. You also need to follow up with a moisturizer prior to putting on makeup.

Speak to the Cosmetologist where you bought your makeup and he/she will help you to select the correct products for your skin type.

Ponds has some nice "cleansing wipes" that you can use to remove the makeup residue and then after you use the wipes...use your regular cleanser weh yuh a use from long time ..

the toner will also help to remove residue but it can sometimes be drying...so get one that is "alcohol free"..a light one is witch hazel which is cheap and works well..

dem sell a pharmacy...juss look inna the pharmacy aisle with all the cleanser dem and yuh will see the makeup remover wipes..

this is what I use and I like it because it is naturally based and alcohol free
The cleanser is so good that i have rarely seen any residue when using the toner.

When cleansing ur face in the evening use it twice
1)to wash off the makeup
2) to cleanse the face

Then you tone

then you apply a moisturizer (oil of olay gives a lot of women milia - it is clogging)

day moisturizer, nighttime replenisher

oh yes
use a gentle exfoliating scrub 2x a week

and a regenerating mask 2x a week as well

you will see a significant difference in a month

me a go try check out the Ponds toner (a hope me seh it right) and use it fe wipe me face..
As u can tell, me kinda outta de makeup business, and just a get back into it..

Kia - What's that about Oil of Olay? I've been using them for years. I find that the moisture cream doesn't work well with me, however, the hydrating cream works pretty good. Which brand do you use?

i use sensaria products.. naturally based with pharmaceutical grade sinting inna it. It works great for me. I love the toner because I can just spray it on and it feels so good [img]/forums/images/graemlins/bannana_purple.gif[/img]
Milia are the little white pimples people get -- oil of olay cause dat.
