Indeed they were. I live in the fake hair capitol of the U.S. second only to Hollywood where more white chicks wear fake hair.

are you saying all the ladies rocking natural styles had weaves?

i'll have to look again but the one with the locks was her real hair for sure...some of the others had to be their real hair...we're just so used to burning out our hair we thing it can't grow that long naturally...
but it can

in any case if black woman are gonna wear weaves it's good to see them rock weaves that emulate natural styles instead of always worshipping straight hair

are those white women all rocking afros braids, locks, etc?

no-- most of them get fake hair that still emulates their natural texture...they are not buying african hair;

but we're buying asian &amp; euro hair-
that's the difference---

in any case i will soon see that house of cards fall too-
just like they used to claim africoid thick lips, buttocks &amp; skin color were sooo unattractive-

until they started getting lip &amp; butt implants &amp; living in tanning salons;

mi nah buy dem claim of beauty

What I am saying is you can achieve all the locks and so forth with sew in hair or by twisting (or locking) bought hair onto natural hair. It does not mean that is the person's natural hair because of the &quot;natural look.&quot; My hairsdresser has clients who come in for those kind of weaves. And the opposite is true ...you can lock your own hair and it can grow to lengths (It takes maintenance work dowe).

I hear you about wearing hair to emulate yaadi yaah ... but to each their own.
My hair is one hello of a bush and too dry try as mi may.. and I wish not to wear it out like it is. Yuh woulda tink mi a mad oooman jus escape fram Bellvue if yuh si mi a sport dat So again, to each their own. I am going to post my natural hair for you. If I can find the pic.

OK jah_yout, I get you that it's the unprocessed look and not necessarily whether the hair is real or fake that you like.

I think their hair looks good, but I don't have a problem with processed hair either. My taste is flexible with hair as long as it doesn't look like it's going every kinda which a way.
