Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, continues her thrifty ways by wearing a coat dress she's worn before.she also has on Old Faithful, the nude shoes she wore thru much of her canadian visit. the hat is new, though.

Princess Anne, the mother of the bride, can't ketch a fashion break. someone said her top looked like curtains. the old man beside her is the groom's father.



Elizabeth managed to look fresher than her daughter, tho Elizabeth's outfit is the usual predictable coat (from the same designer of Zara's wedding dress) with matching hat.

the parents of bride and groom


the bridesmaids and maid of honour wore outfits from the bridal gown designer. the boat neck and exended cap sleeves i find not pretty. love the wee man in the kilt, tho.

this guy is some equestrian big wig. can imagine him having this outfit in his closet waiting for the right time to bring it out. i wonder if his wife's low slung hat is to to shielf her from the stares for hubby's outfit.

then again, they were in scotland, so is probably par for the course there.

naw, he was there


zara's tiara is a gift that phillip's mother originally gave to Elizabeth. it has a Greek key motif. Philip was once Phillip of Greece. Zara is said to take after his side of the family.

&quot;The bride's short silk veil was set off by the <span style="font-weight: bold">Meander tiara</span>, once owned by Prince Philip's mother and loaned to Zara by Princess Anne, who wore it in May for a state banquet at Buckingham Palace to welcome President Obama and his wife Michele.

The tiara is based around a classical Greek 'key pattern' design and boasts a magnificent cut diamond at its centre, which is set off by a laurel wreath pattern picked out in diamonds with honeysuckle motifs on either side.

Its Greek style was inspired by her marriage to Prince Andrew of Greece, the father of the present Duke of Edinburgh.
