I gwine have Michelle Obama arms if it kills me I like the dress. It is made in the same style as the Korean First Lady. But them mussi use thicker fabric mek hers, while Mrs. Obama's own mek wid more free flowing fabric.

that dress is called a "Hanbok " - it's the Korean national "traditional" formal wear. So that's pretty much the <span style="font-style: italic">only </span>proper thing for the Korean fust lady to wear to a state dinner, especially being a guest of potus.
All their dresses for formal events, weddings, etc, are in that poofy-lookin high-waist style.... and (incidentally) they have no pockets. is no wonder her hands were full up. but sheesh you'd think she coulda walked with a bigger bag to hold all her stuffs.

Michelle's dress don't have no pockets either, but she still swinging her arms. I blew the picture up 200% but still can't figure out what the Korean first lady was trying to get hold of.
Side note - Upon blowing the picture up, I noticed the Korean first lady has flawless-looking skin. I wonder what products they are rubbing on her every day.Comment

The white house photographer usually takes couple shots of each so there are more flattering/perfect shots of the couple above with the POTUS
Tulip it takes a a lot of work to get/maintain flawless skin, way more than some women are willing to do

don't forget Michelle was 'at home' - she didn't need to carry anything. hehe.
and i agree gen & pepper, considering these pics are snapped rapid-fire and they typically have <span style="font-style: italic">hundreds </span> of snapshots of any given moment - a better one, in which all parties were properly composed and ready, should have been chosen for publication.
