The rest of the East Coast style set may be preparing for winter, but for Michelle Obama it was time to rock out her summer wardrobe as she visited her husband's birthplace of Hawaii.
The U.S. First Lady showed off a number of showstopping new additions to her wardrobe during the trip for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
Most notably, she wore Vera Wang for the first time on Saturday, much to the designer's delight.
Other outfits also appeared to be new to the First Lady's closet. A bright yellow floral-print dress - chosen to host a luncheon for fellow world leaders' spouses on Sunday - turned heads in particular.
She teamed the statement look, believed to be a tribute to Hawaii, with gold earrings by New York jeweller Miriam Salat.
