Idris Elba is the new face of Smart Water's advertising campaign.

The Emmy-nominated actor will appear in the water brand's print advertisements that will run in upcoming issues of national magazines, including GQ and Essence.

The fall campaign was shot earlier this summer by noted fashion photographer Norman Jean Ray and features Idris in four different scenes incorporating Smart Water into his daily lifestyle.

... another marketing ploy? since we found out that a lot of bottled &quot;spring water&quot; was actually highly filtered tap water, they need to plug the hole as many people wake.

Dasani is sold by Coke. I don't know what they are filtering that water with but it is GOOD. It is one of the only bottled waters I'm willing to buy.

btw, SmartWater is the only bottled water that i'll purchase.

dasani and aquafina don't pretend to be anything other than reverse osmosis filtered water

Yes, it tastes very good Kia. It has a lite, clean taste. Whatever they are doing with the double osmosis back filtering or whatever Rich said works for me.

It may turn out that I don't like real spring water. Is Evian supposed to be genuine? I am not a fan. It tastes like Walgreens' brand &quot;drinking water&quot;.

I don't care for most of the bottled waters. Fiji is another brand I really like though.

Against my better judgment Gen, I must ask what exactly was so disgusting. How did the filtered residue look? (I ask this question as someone drinking a glass of tap water as I type.)
