On last night's Coast to Coast, Dr. Leonard Coldwell talked about the dangers of chemotherapy as well as the benefits of alternative cancer treatment. Calling chemotherapy "assault with a deadly weapon," Coldwell contended that "nobody dies of cancer anymore, they die from the side effects of the so-called 'treatment.'" To that end, he cited a UK study which showed that 27% of patients undergoing chemotherapy die within the first 30 days. In espousing the benefits of alternative cancer treatments, he claimed that flax seed oil has been proven to fight breast cancer better than chemotherapy. Additionally, Coldwell advised that cancer cannot survive in an "alkaline, oxygen-rich environment." Therefore, he suggested people consume a gallon of water with half a tablespoon of sea or pink salt every day and switch to a raw food diet.

Re: combatting cancer
By the time my mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, it was already in the late stage. The cancerous cells progressed rapidly and spread throughout her body. However, we felt that the chemo did more damage to her physically than the disease itself. The doctors had given her 30 days to live but she fought the battle for 3 long months.

Re: combatting cancer
that seems to make sense about the raw food diet. eating closer to the food source
gallon of water with sea salt? how much sea salt? cant think it would be too bad a thing for healthy people too.If you don't fight for what you deserve, you deserve what you get.

Whether you have the big C or know someone who does, borrow this book from the library.
"crazy sexy diet" - (no it's not a book about losing weight, it's a book about
what you put into your body). It's written by a woman who has/had cancer

Re: combatting cancer
It is really misleading today to imply that food source is the only cause of cancer.
Olivia Newton-John had/has breast cancer and according to her, her diet all along consist mostly of plants, vegetables and fruit, some whole grains, nuts and seeds.
Michelle Thomas who played Myra on "Family Matters" died of stomach cancer in 1998 and was a lifelong vegetarian

sea salt doesn't raise your blood pressure. think back to that fad cleanse with the maple syrup organic lime. you had to drink a litre of water with one table spoon of sea salt for the initial flush. and boy do you flush
