Does anybody make their own cosmetics?
Y'know... like cold cream, facial scrub, etc.

I make my own facial scrub, because I can make better scrub (and more economically) than I can buy.
I use four simple ingredients<span style="font-weight: bold">:</span> dark brown brown sugar, coconut oil, dark honey, and shea butter.

So, does anybody else make their own?

Hair conditioner, ILP? What ingredients do you use?

I make a deep conditioning treatment for my hair called a &quot;caramel treatment&quot;.

hair conditioner, witchy....

olive oil
canola oil
egg yolks
smidgen of honey or molasses (just to keep it from being runny)

unfortunately i am allergic to shea butter, so i cannot partake of its beauty benefits

facial and body scrub: sugar and argan oil

face mask: cucumber and olive oil

facial steam: steaming hot water and a 2 tea bags of my choice; steam face for 10 minutes.

the after effects is having skin that looks and feel glowing and is awesomely smooth.

ILP, if you wanted to try the hair caramel - you could replace the shea butter with any other oil in the hair caramel recipe. That recipe is tweak-able, so long as you keep the proportions of oils to the other stuff. I swapped the wheat germ oil (which my hair loves) for olive oil (which my hair hates) in the original recipe. I know others who don't have/have access to red palm oil, who either swap some other oil or some more coconut oil.

The hair caramel is also freezable. Just let it come to room temp before using it.
