shopping for summer clothes

i've been shopping for summer clothes. i haven't bought anything yet. i really ache to buy something. most of my clothes, whle they're classic styles, i've had for years. i want new stuff just to have new stuff dammit [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

problem: all the clothes are icky. who the hell is telling people that women want to wear polyester - o forgive me, microfibre in 28 degree celcius weather? and it's all the same crap in every store, from high end to low end [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

i bought a piece of linen yesterday. beige with green threads running throught it. i may just get out the sewing machine by weekend [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

more fire for the fashion industry [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

aye sue, mi hear yuh pon dat one. Dats why mi did ask roun ya bout summer tops and the input mi get back, pint mi in de right direction. since den, mi buy quite a few pieces (mostly from Old Navy and at marked down prices too)

My dilemma now is finding nice bottoms and sandals. Mi waa sandals whe look nice but woah drain mi pocket.

Nunya, try Winners &lt;-- [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] i swear by that place. i don't want to buy anything in the one down here because too many of the assfice ladies shop there [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif[/img] i picked up a swear pair of sling back for ---&gt; wait for it---&gt; $29.00. i almost had a stroke in the store [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img]

i prefer going to one out in the boonies where there aren't so many of the same thing on a rack.

o man. winners has improved considerably over the years. altho the one up by bloor/bay actually sells $5,000 balenciaga dresses [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

the one at dufferin mall is the best one. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/breakdance.gif[/img]

Zed, i actually picked up one of those summery skirts at Suzy Shier (wear once to work and then use to ride bicycle) [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif[/img] and an orange ~~~ gasp @ orange ~~~ top at urban planet.

canada is one hot place in the summer [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif[/img]
