most of the dresses are name brands - so you could go to David's Bridals - try on the dress - and order from eBay

wedding styles change - i can't tell [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img] so most of the eBay dresses are probably "last season" but alot of them are new

i've had great success buying off eBay - especially if you note the sellers ratings and comments [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

ETA: how can you go wrong spending $30 - if you don't like it - consignment shop - probably selling for more

now what scares me - is having a dress made and having it look Mammy-made or having me look like Jennifer Hudson the other night [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
