Another from Relaxed to Natural Post

Ok I am too lazy to find the other post I started a few weeks ago. I have decided to go natural and have been looking for option. Some of you may remember I asked about miss jessie's and came accross some other option such as kinky curly and so on

I have found out that cuz I have so much relaxed hair those products willnot work very well. The hair is just a bit past the shoulders and only 2 inches of that is natural so I am thinking about doing a straw set an wearing it like that for sometime. I need something I can do myself and maintain myself.

when I use to relax my hair, I didn't do it on a regular so in between I would wash, condition and corn row the hair doing back, let it dry and put take them down, It came out nice and wavy. You can keep it up for a week at a time.

you can set your hair on perm rods also
lasts longer

sometimes 4 5 months

the perm rods come in all sizes
setting your hair with these
will minimize the amount of combing you will have to do
use a pick and kinda fluff and go

you don't want to comb it to much or it will break off at the place the natural hair meets the perm

that's what I am realizing. Combing is breaking the hair. I will try the perm rods and set it just like the girl in the video

Regular 'settaz' jus de small ones though...when mi get tyad a de big spirals den mi pull dem an mek dem smaller. Mi notice dat mek it last longer too [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70402-thinking.gif[/img]

An mi creme mi head every 13-15 weeks
