Golf wear?

I don't golf, but my husband loves to (although it's been a long time). He bought me a set of clubs for Christmas 2 years ago. I've never used them. his birthday is coming soon and I'm taking him golfing - it's a surprise [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70390-shhh.gif[/img]
I bought some golf sandals (I don't want to ruin my pedicure with bulky old style golf shoes). But I don't know what I should wear!!
I don't want to buy new clothes but I don't know if I have anything appropriate.

shorts (bermuda length but loose enough to move around in), some preppy polo shirts (by any brand) and a cap to keep the sun off your face.

yes..just keep it for the next time you and hubby go [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img] a great way for you to spend time together so it wont be a total waste. It helps you to grip the clubs.
